CALL TO ORDER Present: 5 - Chairperson Ron Woerman, Vice Chair Carl Franco, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Dan Barreiro and Alderwoman Patty Smith ROLL CALL APPROVAL OF MINUTES 24-0629 Approval of the minutes from the Rules, Administration, and Procedure Committee meeting held on August 20, 2024. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Franco, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 PUBLIC COMMENT Alderman-at-large John Laesch spoke for public comment regarding the City of Aurora Sign Ordinance. Sylvia Vargas, Mayor's Office - City of Aurora presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0657 A Resolution approving the appointment of Juan Liz, Caleb Brown, and Sai Ganbote to the Aurora Youth Council. Sylvia Vargas, Mayor's Office - City of Aurora presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Franco, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 24-0705 A Resolution approving the appointments of Peeyush Khandelwal, Adithya Subramanian, Vinod Pandey, and Swati Singh to the Indian American Community Outreach Advisory Board. A motion was made by Vice Chair Franco, seconded by Alderwoman Smith, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 5 CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Vice Chair Franco, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried.
