Bugg Alderman Dan Barreiro Alderwoman Patty Smith Members of the public wishing to provide public comment for this meeting must be physically present at the meeting and registered to speak prior to the meeting being called to order. Please contact the Aldermen's Office at (630) 256-3020. CALL TO ORDER Vice Chair Franco called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m. ROLL CALL Present: 4 - Vice Chair Carl Franco, Alderman Edward Bugg, Alderman Dan Barreiro and Alderwoman Patty Smith Absent: 1 - Chairperson Ron Woerman APPROVAL OF MINUTES 25-0201 Approval of the minutes from Rules, Administration, and Procedure Committee meeting held on March 4, 2025 . A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 PUBLIC COMMENT AGENDA 25-0225 A Resolution approving the appointment of Robert Dunn to the Civil Service Commission. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Barreiro, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. City of Aurora Page 1 Rules, Administration, and Meeting Minutes - Final March 18, 2025 Procedure Ayes: 4 25-0226 A Resolution authorizing the appointment of Marquerite Blitch to the Mayor's Sustainable Aurora Advisory Board. Alex Voigt, Deputy Chief of Staff - City of Aurora presented and answered questions regarding this item. A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Barreiro, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion carried. Ayes: 4 25-0224 Presentation and discussion of upcoming proposed ordinance amendment to Chapter 27, specifically Sec. 27-176 "Parking Commercial Vehicles, Trailers, Truck Trailers and Truck Tractors in Residential Districts". Alex Voigt, Deputy Chief of Staff - City of Aurora, Officer Weil, and Sgt Bonnie - APD presented and answered questions regarding this item. This Information/Discussion Only was discussed and filed CLOSED SESSION ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Alderwoman Smith, seconded by Alderman Bugg, that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Vice Chair Franco adjourned the meeting at 3:33 p.m. Ayes: 4 THIS MEETING AGENDA SHALL ALSO SERVE AS NOTICE THAT A MAJORITY OF A QUORUM OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AURORA, ILLINOIS MAY ATTEND OR PARTICIPATE IN THIS COMMITTEE MEETING.
