CALL TO ORDER
Chairperson Bugg called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.

Present: 5 - Chairperson Edward Bugg, Vice Chair Dan Barreiro, Alderman Javier
Bañuelos, Alderwoman Shweta Baid and Alderman-At-Large Will White
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
25-0450 Approval of the minutes from Rules, Administration, and Procedure
Committee meeting held on May 20, 2025 .
A motion was made by Vice Chair Barreiro, seconded by Alderwoman Baid,
that this agenda item be accepted and filed. The motion carried.

25-0321 An Ordinance Amending Chapter 12 of the Aurora Code of Ordinances
titled Buildings and Building Regulations to Adopt the 2024 I-Series of
Codes and Recommended Amendments .
Josh Ream - Director of Development Services, John Curley - Chief Development
Services Officer, and Jesse Kolar - Director of Building and Permits presented and
answered questions regarding this item.
A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Alderman-At-Large
White, that this agenda item be recommended for approval. The motion
carried.

25-0405 An Informational Discussion on the upcoming Ordinance Amending
Chapter 12 of the Aurora Code of Ordinances titled Buildings and
Building Regulations to Adopt the 2024 I-Series of Codes and
Recommended Amendments.
Josh Ream - Director of Development Services, John Curley - Chief Development
Services Officer, and Jesse Kolar - Director of Building and Permits presented and

This Information/Discussion Only was discussed and filed

25-0316 A Resolution authorizing the reappointment of Gina Moga, Kevin
Fitzpatrick, Mike Baum, Chistine Goerlich Weber, R. Peter Grometer,
John Savage, Jonathan Hylton, Timothy Hoppa, and Cynthia Latimer to
the Aurora Civic Center Authority board.
This Resolution was tabled

A motion was made by Alderwoman Baid, seconded by Vice Chair Barreiro,
that this meeting be adjourned. The motion carried. Chairperson Bugg
adjourned the meeting at 4:01 p.m.
