APPOINTMENTS The individuals named below have been nominated for a seat on a city board, committee or commission. Each nomination is subject to confirmation by the City Council, approval of appointment will be accomplished by one motion unless a council member requests to take up a nomination separately, in which event the nomination will be removed from the General Order of Business and considered at this point on the agenda. 9.a. Stats. for the purposes of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session; namely, to discuss the potential agreement between the City of Beloit and the Beloit Police Supervisor's Association (BPSA). The Council may reconvene into Open Session for possible action regarding the matter discussed in closed session. (Krueger) 13.
