Each nomination is subject to confirmation by the City Council, approval of appointment will be accomplished by one motion unless a council member requests to take up a nomination separately, in which event the nomination will be removed from the General Order of Business and considered at this point on the agenda. 9.a. Consideration of Resolution 2026-072 approving the Final Plat of Creek Woods in the City of Beloit (Christensen) Plan Commission recommendation for approval 7-0 (The packet materials for this item were uploaded at 2:15 p.m. on May 15, 2026) Attachment City Council Regular Meeting Meeting Agenda - May 18, 2026 2 12.b. The City Council may adjourn into closed session pursuant to Wis. Stats. section 19.85(1) (e) for the purpose of deliberating or negotiating the purchasing of public properties, the investing of public funds, or conducting other specified public business, whenever competitive or bargaining reasons require a closed session; namely to discuss the collective bargaining agreement with the WPPA/LEER and BPSA police unions. The council may reconvene into open session to take action on the matter(s) discussed in closed session. (Krueger) 13.
