Stat.§ 143-318.11(a)(1), to review, approve, and seal closed session minutes from Council's prior closed session(s). B. N.C. Gen. Stat.§ 143-318.11(a)(3), to consult with the Town Attorney in order to preserve the attorney-client privilege between the attorney and the Town Council, and obtain legal advice, consider, and/or give instructions to the attorney concerning one or more potential legal claims. C. N.C. Gen. Stat. § 143-318.11(a)(1), (a)(5), and/or (a)(6) to prevent the disclosure of information that is privileged or confidential pursuant to N.C. Gen. Stat. §160A- 168; to establish or instruct town staff or negotiating agents concerning the position to be taken by or on behalf of the town in negotiating the price and other material terms of a contract or proposed contract for the acquisition of real property by purchase, option, exchange, or lease; or the amount of compensation and other material terms of an employment contract or proposed employment contract; and/or to consider the qualifications, competence, performance, character, fitness, conditions of appointment, or conditions of initial employment of an individual public officer or employee or prospective public officer or employee. 3.
