Conduct public hearing to approve abolishment of Public Information Officer classification as posted in the public hearing notice, and acknowledge receipt of recommendation from the OSE 3. Approve to post public hearing notices for 30 days for classification changes of both Jail Superintendent and Chief of Communications from Promotional to Competitive, in accordance with Senate Bill 447 4. Approve letter of appeal from Officer Margaret Edwards and set a date for public hearing FIRE DEPARTMENT 1. Approval of personnel action forms 2. Approve to call for promotional exams of Assistant Chief of Fire Prevention, Chief of Fire Prevention, Chief of Training, Chief of EMS, and Master Mechanic 3. Approve test scores of Fire Training Officer promotional exam 4. Approve to post public hearing notices for 30 days for adoption of the new classification of Assistant Director of Fire Communications, and proposed changes to classifications of Fire Communications Supervisor and Director of Communications, and acknowledge receipt of recommendation from the OSE NOTICE: This board may go into executive session as covered under R.S. 42:6.1 Number 4, for investigative proceedings regarding allegations of misconduct. NOTICE: In the event this meeting cannot be held in its entirety due to lack of quorum or time constraints, items will be automatically carried over to the next meeting.
