Second reading of Ordinance 2026-07 - An ordinance of the City of Bowie, Texas; amending Chapter 1, "General Provisions", by repealing Article 1.1700 "Office of Emergency Management" in its entirety and adopting a new Article 1.1700 entitled "Office of Emergency Management (OEM)"; providing a savings clause, a repealer clause and providing an effective date. 2. Update on agreement for automatic aid assistance between City of Bowie Fire Department, Sunset Volunteer Fire Department, and Bowie Rural Volunteer Fire Department. Page 1 of 2 IX. NEW BUSINESS: DISCUSSION AND ACTION 1. Consider Medical Access & Service Advantage (MASA) program. 2. Ordinance 2026-08 - An ordinance providing for a General Election in the City of Bowie; authorizing the Montague County Elections Administrator to officially conduct the November 3, 2026 General Election; setting forth council positions and terms; establishing regular and early voting places; and establishing an effective date. 3. Approve amendment to Finance Department's Cash Handling Policy. 4. Presentation of Draft 2026/2027 Bowie Municipal Budget. 5. Set Public Hearing on proposed budget for August 11, 2026. 6.
