Call to Order/Pledge of Allegiance/Roll Call Meeting Meeting called to order at 5:50 pm. Meeting called to order by Lena Erickson at 5:50 PM. Electing Executive Committee Jasper Sternfield motioned to elect Lena Erickson and Scylee Groseth as Executive Co-Chairs and Alexa Mercado Garay as Executive Secretary. Lamarion Buie seconded, motion passed. 3. Meet in Committee Groups Community Outreach: Motion to elect Haylee Mosher as Chair and Lamarion Buie as Vice Chair made by Natalie Eng, seconded by Raelynn Miller, motion passed. Civic Engagement: Motion to elect Isabelle James as Chair and Sylas Brannin as Vice Chair made by Lena Erickson and seconded by Samuel Russell, motion passed. 4. Build Showcase Poster for League of Arizona Cities and Towns Conference Scylee suggested making the poster in 3D, with mountains coming out in front going into poster and light coming through the middle (sunset). Poster print and cut out sun rays to make the sun glow. For the conference networking time, council members suggested adding a QR code to the poster to enter a song and say what city you’re from. 5. Volunteer Events/Opportunities Alexa shared the volunteer opportunity tracking sheet with the Youth Council and discussed upcoming events. 6. Comment from the Buckeye Youth Councilmembers NEXT MEETING PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN – SPECIAL GUEST (TRANSPORTATION) Sidewalks, buses, bike lanes, trains, etc. 7.
