CALL TO ORDER and AGENDA Mayor Mulvaney-Stanak called the meeting to order at 10:01 PM. 1.1 Motion to amend/adopt agenda MOTION by Councilor Doherty, SECOND by Councilor Broderick, to adopt the agenda. VOTING: unanimous; motion carries. 2. CONSENT AGENDA 2.1 Motion to adopt the consent agenda and take the actions indicated 2.2 Resolution: Appointment of Assistant Election Officials for August 13, 2024 State Primary Election and Ward 3 Special Election (Councilor Traverse) – waive the reading and adopt the resolution. MOTION by Councilor Doherty, SECOND by Councilor McKnight, to adopt the consent agenda and take the actions indicated for items 2.1-2.2. VOTING: unanimous; motion carries. 3.0 ADJOURNMENT 3.1 Motion to Adjourn The meeting was adjourned without objection at 10:02 PM.

Bd. of Civil Authority of the City of Burlington, as follows: 1 That WHEREAS, the State Primary Election and Ward 3 Special Election will occur on August 13th, 2024; 2 and 3 WHEREAS, state statute, 17 V.S.A. § 2454, requires the appointment of a sufficient number of 4 assistant election officials for each voting district by the Board of Civil Authority with an attempt to appoint 5 an equal number of persons from each major political party; and 6 WHEREAS, the Ward Clerks as the presiding officers of their voting districts have found persons of 7 varying political affiliations to serve as assistant election officials for their districts; and 8 WHEREAS, these persons will serve under the direction of the Ward Clerks as assistant election 9 officials, providing competent and essential assistance to the elected and appointed ward officers in the 10 running of the August 13th, 2024 State Primary Election and Ward 3 Special Election; 11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the
