BCA Board of Directors Executive Committee Meeting Minutes Wednesday, November 5, 2025 Present: Lori Rowe, Laura McDonough, Sarah Rogers, Hannah Lebel, Billi Gosh, Doreen Kraft, Sara Katz Board meeting agenda planning The committee discussed items to include on the November board meeting agenda. o Rental space information will be included in Doreen's director's report in a new section called Action Items. Information is also available on BCA’s website. o Ad hoc committees will report on activities o Financial and fundraising reports through September 30 o Capital Campaign and 405 update Supplies discussion The committee discussed a proposal to collect basic supplies for Education and Art from the Heart programs from board members. o To avoid confusion with board pledges during this appeal period, the supply collection will be postponed until January o Only the camera equipment request will be shared with the board in the Director’s report Action Items section Art from the Heart fundraising event The committee discussed the upcoming Art from the Heart fundraiser on November 19th. o The event is looking to attract 20-40 attendees o Doreen will follow up with Barbara Perry about inviting additional hospital board members o The committee will work to ensure the event feels successful for the host Board and Friends party planning The committee discussed plans for the December Board and Friends party. o The invitation will go out via Paperless Post with the ability to add names o The committee will be selective about additional guests to maintain the event's intimate nature o They will plan for short toasts from a variety of perspectives Capital campaign updates o The capital campaign is making progress with tours and asks, including a potential naming opportunity for the community room and new gifts post the recent event o One of our donors has volunteered to host an event to introduce new people to the campaign
