Recommended Action 1. To authorize the Director of Aviation to execute a contract agreement with
Engelberth Construction, Inc. for up to $24,284,655.63 with a 3.3% contingency for an
amount up to $25,087,498 for the construction of the Snow Removal Equipment
Building (SRE), and any other related documents necessary or convenient to effect the
transaction, subject to review and approval as form by the City Attorney’s Office.
2. To authorize the Director of Aviation to execute a contract agreement with Passero
Associates, Inc. for up to $1,367,300.00 with a 3.3% contingency for an amount up to
$1,412,502 for the construction oversight services of the Snow Removal Equipment
Building (SRE) construction, and any other related documents necessary or convenient
to effect the transaction subject to review and approval as to form by the City
Attorney’s Office.
3. To authorize the Director of Aviation to execute a lease/finance agreement with M&T
Bank in the amount of $25,651,955.63 with a 3.3% contingency for an amount up to
$26,500,000 for the oversight and construction of the Snow Removal Equipment
Building (SRE), and any other related documents necessary or convenient to effect the
transaction, subject to review and approval as to form by legal counsel.
4. To authorize the Director of Aviation to take such further actions, and to approve
such further instruments approved as to form by the City Attorney, as may be
necessary or convenient to effectuate the transactions contemplated hereby.
5. To waive the reading and adopt the attached resolution.
