Call To Order (Nick) 2. Agenda a. Emily: Motion to adopt the agenda b. Samantha: Seconded c. Motion passes unanimously 3. Public Forum a. No members of the public present 4. Discussion on Social Media Policy for FFL a. Mary provided overview on order of operations to adopt/update library policy b. Discussion on library social media in effect opening a public forum protected by the first amendment, allowing/disallowing comments on different social media platforms, and how each social media platform has policies on content and moderation c. Discussion on revising existing FFL social media policy through an equity lens and process for working on these revisions d. Began to revise FFL social media policy by line and will continue at next policy subcommittee meeting in April 2025. Goal is to have revised policy within a few meetings. 5. New Business a.
