1. Reflect on 12/8/21 NPA meeting
It went really well - hard to keep legislators within time. But active discussion. Not many attendees. Suggestion:
hand out “Hello, neighbor” cards - or put in doorways as lit drop - inviting people to the meeting. Notes were
excellent - Keith sent to neighbors to encourage attendance. Importance of asking councilors about what
residents need from councilors. Concern about technology & acoustics in Sharon Bushor room. Both Hannah &
Jonathan listened to recordings of meetings in the Sharon Bushor room. We need to flag this problem with
CEDO. Tom has not had difficulty using the recordings to create minutes.
Location - (December), January, February, March and into spring are reserved at the Bushor Room in City Hall.
Should we consider using the library? Elevator is out 12/20 - not sure when available. We can check in with
library people about the elevator - Tom will do.
Consider creating lit drop cards - Hannah will do Ward 8. Text = general invitation, QR code link to wards 1 & 8
CEDO link to the meeting. Ready for distribution in January, may not happen before January meeting, but
general information. Tom & Carol would lit drop in Ward 1. Tom and Hannah will work on the task of creating
and printing the lit drop cards.
Keith interested in more signs to post - Carol will get to him
