Historic Park Advisory Committee

FOUNDERS PARK COMMITTEE Minutes from the November 15, 2018 meeting. In attendance: John Williams, Kevin Clark, Bruce Ashby, Ed Van Awken, Councilperson Grant, April‐Yvette McCreary Special Report: There were none. New business: Bruce Ashby proposed the idea of a YouTube video that might help promote the park and be a fund‐ raising source for the park. The committee held discussion regard the notion and value of the idea and decided more information would help the committee’s decision and method of pursuit. Bruce will contact SIU persons with some experience in these matters to address and inform the committee. Old business: Ms. McCreary shared progress drawings for review and committee members commented on the same. The drawings are great and are a nice step forward. Ed & Tom will meet to develop the Brochure/Pamphlet and bring a draft to the next meeting for peer review. Kevin will explore possible available grants.
