Request Preliminary approval for new construction of a multi-family development as
per documentation submitted.
Owner: Crowne Maybank Holdings, LLC
Applicant: Seamon Whiteside and Associates
Neighborhood: Johns Island
MOTION: Preliminary approval- study the details, hardscape and landscaping for
amenities area; study the landscape plan, rear area should be informal and
natural, detailing of 5v crimp roof fasteners to be shown in sample panel;
provide a photometric plan for site; use stamped asphalt for crosswalks;
eliminate all non-operable shutters; eliminate all faux windows; relocate the
mail kiosk; provide locations of all hvac units, dryer vents and electric meters;
coordinate level of brick on all buildings; provide a detail of sample panel in
final drawings, provide an on-site sample panel prior to issuance of permits;
table window discussion until sample panel.

MOTION: Preliminary approval- introduce a metal panel in between windows on
Maybank Highway elevation; signage to be submitted under separate
application; restudy pole fixtures on top level of garage; eliminate use of gas
lighting and use subdued lighting along Maybank façade; Increase caliper of
live oaks along Maybank; provide a detail of sample panel in final drawings,
provide an on-site sample panel prior to issuance of permits; table window
discussion until sample panel.
