REQUEST TO CLOSE AND ABANDON A PORTION OF NORMAN STREET
A portion of Norman Street to be closed and abandoned is located in the City and County of
Charleston, State of South Carolina, and is described generally as heading generally in a
southerly direction consisting of 0.083 acres (3,637 SF) as defined by points
K,G,F,L,M,N,O,P,K as shown on a plat entitled “PLAT SHOWING THE CREATION OF A
NEW SUBSURFACE UTILITY EASEMENT & A NEW UTILITY EASEMENT FOR AN
EXISTING LIGHT POLE FOR THE CITY OF CHARLESTON - ALSO SHOWING A
PORTION OF NORMAN STREET CURRENTLY MAINTAINED BY THE CITY OF
CHARLESTON TO BE CONVEYED BY THE CITY OF CHARLESTON TO CROSSTOWN
DEVELOPMENT PARTNERS LLC.”
Further reference is craved, see the above-referenced plat prepared by Lewis Smith Moore, RLS, with
Forsberg Engineering & Surveying, Inc. dated September 17, 2015 and last revised on November 19,
2015, marked as Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated by reference herein.
Being a portion of property conveyed to the City of Charleston by deed of the South Carolina Department
of Transportation by Quit-Claim Deed dated February 3, 2015 and recorded in Book 0496 at Page 193 in
the RMC Office for Charleston County.
