There will be a meeting of the Public Works and Utilities Committee on Monday,
December 2, 2019 to begin at 4:00 pm., first floor conference room at City Hall.

D. Acceptance and Dedication of Rights-of-Way and Easements
1. Acceptance and Dedication of Riverview Estates- Weeping Way (60’R/W
251 LF) a portion of Striped Lane (50’ R/W 973 LF) a portion of Rubrum
Road (50’ R/W 155 LF) a portion of Thin Pine Drive (50’ R/W 1280 LF) .
There are 48 lots. All improvements with the exception of sidewalks have
been completed. The sidewalks have been bonded.
E. Temporary Encroachments Approved by The Department of Public Service
(For information only)
1. 9 Gibbes St. - Installing storm drainage pipe with junction box
and associated apparatuses in City easement. This
encroachment is temporary. Approved December 1, 2019
2. 25.2 State St. - Installing 48” X 15” right angled sign above the
City right-of-way. This encroachment is temporary. Approved
December 1, 2019.

3. 301 Longshore St. - Installing two colonnades and porch in
City right-of-way. This encroachment is temporary. Approved
November 22, 2019.
4. 340 Chimney Back St. – Installing irrigation encroachment in
City right of way. This encroachment is temporary. Approved
December 1, 2019
5. 890 Island Park Dr.- 890 Project – Installing permanent
canopies overhang in City right of way. This encroachment is
permanent. Approved December 1, 2019.
6. 2009 Utsey St. – Installing irrigation encroachment in City right
of way. This encroachment is temporary. Approved December
1, 2019.
F. Stormwater Management Department Update
1. Lord Calvert Drainage Improvements Construction Contract with Gulf Stream
Construction Co. in the amount of $197,734.96 for the installation of new
storm drainage pipe along Lord Calvert Drive.
