Study Overview
● 3x3 Study
○ 3 years / 3 million
○ 100% federally funded
● Started October 2018
● Focus on protection from storm surge
Study Boundaries

● Examining structural and non-structural alternatives from storm surge
protection
● Alternatives analysis ongoing
○ Modeling different combinations of alternatives
○ Different heights and footprint of potential barrier
● Modeling and economic analysis expected to wrap up soon
● Alternatives Analysis delivers highest possible cost/benefit ratio
● Recent Site Visits with Federal, State, and Local Agencies
