The motion carried by the following vote: Yeas: 9 - Council Member Austin, Council Member Autry, Council Member Driggs, Council Member Eiselt, Council Member Fallon, Council Member Kinsey, Council Member Lyles, Council Member Phipps, and Council Member Smith Nays: 1 - Council Member Mayfield COUNCIL GUIDANCE ON INTERIM ZONING POICIES Planning and Transportation staff gave a presentation about Rezoinng Issues: Setting a Foundation for Zoning Decisions. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE OTHER BUSINESS Mayor Roberts made two brief announcements. She announced that the Budget Public Hearing will be held next Monday, May 9, 2016 at 5:30 p.m. in the Meeting Chamber. Mayor Roberts announced that City Clerk Stephanie C. Kelly was elected Vice-President to the International Institute of Municipal Clerks. Ms. Kelly will be sworn in on May 25, 2016 in Omaha, Nebraska. She will then move up the line of succession to become IIMC President in 2018 in Norfolk, Virginia. MANAGER'S RECOMMENDED BUDGET PRESENTATION City Manager Ron Carlee presented the Mayor and City Council with his FY2017 Budget Recommendations. No action was taken.
