Called to Order: The meeting of the Police and Fire Commission to order at 3:49 p.m.
Members Present: Jason Klein, Doug Carpenter, and Jeanine Supanich Absent: Matt

Supanich/Carpenter m/s/c to approve the agenda.
Supanich/Carpenter m/s/c to approve minutes from March 9, 2025.
POLICE DEPARTMENT
Klein/Supanich m/s/c u/roll to adjourn into closed session according to Wis. Stats.
19.85(1)(c) to consider employment, promotion, compensation, or performance
evaluation data of any public employee over which the governmental body has
jurisdiction or exercise responsibility/Hiring/promoting a Police Captain, to include
Freitag and Pues.
Reconvened into open session.
Klein/Supanich m/s/u to hire Matthew Wright as Police Captain per the recommendation
by Chief Freitag.

The FD conducted training related to equipment operation and rescue victim removal.
E(3) Reporting Systems
On 1-1-26 The National Reporting System was changed. The current software is converting data to the old format (NFIRS)
whereas the new system (NERIS) reports incidents different. Attached is YTD in both formats. NFIRS has been discontinued
so monthly reports will be converted to the NERIS data in the future.
