Student – Parent Handbook (Rita Weaver) Rita Weaver presented a working draft of the Student Parent Handbook for adoption in Spring 2027. A copy was provided in the meeting agenda packet. Discussion ensued, and CSUSA staff fielded questions and noted feedback from the Board. Consensus was reached in support of the document. 2. Student Code of Conduct / Discipline Matrix (Rita Weaver) Rita Weaver presented a working draft of the Coral Springs Charter School’s Student Code of Conduct and Discipline Matrix for adoption and implementation in the 2027–28 school year. Members of the Board discussed the item, and CSUSA staff responded to questions and noted feedback from the Board. Consensus was reached to bring the document back in Fall of the 2026-27 school year. Board Communications Board members reflected on the recent Teen Political Forum event. They noted student feedback highlighting the need for more job opportunities throughout the city and encouraged the expansion of the student internship and apprenticeship program, as well as the return of the traveling job fair at local high schools. Adjournment There being no further business, the meeting adjourned at 4:55 p.m. /s/ Georgia Elliott ____________________________ Georgia Elliott, CMC City Clerk
