City of Davenport, Iowa City Council Special Meeting Minutes Tuesday, April 2, 2024 The City Council of Davenport, Iowa met in special session on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 4:45 p.m. in the Council Chambers at Davenport City Hall, 226 West 4th Street, Davenport, Iowa with Mayor Matson presiding and all Aldermen present except Alderman Kelly and Alderwoman Lynch (Alderman R. Dunn, Alderwoman Meginnis, Alderman Reinartz, Alderman Gripp, Alderwoman Newton, Alderman T. Dunn, Alderman Jobgen, and Alderwoman Burkholder). I. Moment of Silence II. Pledge of Allegiance | Led by Alderman Reinartz III. Roll Call IV. Executive Session On motion by Alderman Jobgen, second by Alderwoman Meginnis and all Aldermen present voting aye, Council recess to Executive Session at 4:46 p.m. to evaluate the performance of individuals in closed session as requested by those individuals pursuant to Iowa Code Section 21.5(1)(i). Council reconvened in Executive Session at 4:54 p.m. with Mayor Matson and all Aldermen present except Alderman Kelly and Alderwoman Lynch (Alderwoman Burkholder, Alderman R. Dunn, Alderman T. Dunn, Alderman Gripp, Alderman Jobgen, Alderwoman Meginnis, Alderwoman Newton, and Alderman Reinartz). Others presented included Attorneys Richard Davidson and Brett Marshall from Lane & Waterman LLP. On motion by Alderman T. Dunn, second by Alderman Jobgen Council went back into open session at 7:22 p.m. On motion by Alderman T. Dunn, second by Alderwoman Meginnis Council adjourned at 7:22 p.m. Brian J.
