DEKALB TAYLOR MUNICIPAL AIRPORT AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD MINUTES November 27, 2018 Chairman Bob Owens called the meeting to order at 7:03pm. Roll Call: Matt Duffy, Bob Owens, Gary Hanson, Paul Borek and Bernie Pupino Absent: Ryan James and James Rhoades Guests: none APPROVAL OF AGENDA - Chairman Owens asked to add - Discussion of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIPS) in Old Business. Motion by Bernie Pupino. Seconded by Paul Borek. Motion passed. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION- None APPROVAL OF MINUTES- Motion by Bernie Pupino. Seconded by Paul Borek. Motion passed. OLD BUSINESS — Chairman Bob Owens asked to have another discussion of the Transportation Improvement Program (TIPS) because the FAA and Illinois Division of Aeronautics changed the order of the construction projects for DeKalb Airport. Discussion was held. A motion was made by Paul Borek to approve the new order of the airport construction projects specified by the FAA and Illinois Division of Aeronautics. Bernie Pupino seconded the motion. Motion Passed. NEW BUSINESS — Approval of the recommendation to approve a 15-year lease extension for Midwest Hangar Corporation was discussed. Midwest Hangar Corporation has been a good tenant and none of the Airport Advisory Board members had any issue with extending their current lease. A motion was made by Gary Hanson to approve the recommendation to approve a 15 year extension to the Midwest Hangar Corporation land lease. Motion was seconded by Bernie Pupino. Motion passed. AIRPORT MANAGERS REPORT- Airport Manager discussed the October fuel sales which were good. 8660 gallons of Jet fuel was sold in October. Snow removal is going well. The Transportation Improvement Program for DeKalb Airport will be submitted to the Illinois Department of Transportation — Division of Aeronautics in December. The Airport Advisory Board will be receiving a City website update jn January from the City IT Division. Airport Staff will try to secure a DeKalb County Economic Development Corporation Airport event in January to promote the Airport Strategic Plan. The Airport Advisory Board meeting for December will be cancelled. MOTION TO ADJOURN- Motion by Gary Hanson. Seconded by Paul Borek. Motion passed. Meeting adjourned at 8:05pm.
