Board of Fire & Police Commissioners MEETING MINUTES August 11, 2016 CALL TO ORDER A special meeting of the Board of Fire and Police Commissioners was called to order on August 11, 2016 at 4:43 p.m. in the Administration Conference Room at the DeKalb Police Department by Sam Finch, Chairman. ROLL CALL Present were Commissioners Sam Finch, Tony Chulick and Amonaquenette Parker. Also present were Michelle Anderson, Secretary to the Board, Cris Randall, Human Resources Director and John Petragallo, Deputy Police Chief. APPROVAL OF AGENDA A motion was made by Parker to approve the agenda as presented. Seconded by Chulick and approved by voice vote. CONSIDERATIONS/PUBLIC PARTICIPATION NONE OLD BUSINESS NONE NEW BUSINESS NONE APPROVAL OF A REQUEST TO MOVE TO EXECUTIVE SESSION A motion was made by Chulick to move to executive session to conduct oral interviews for Lateral Police Officer candidates. Seconded by Finch and approved by voice vote. The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners moved to Executive Session at 4:46 p.m. A motion was made by Chulick to adjourn Executive Session. Seconded by Finch and approved by voice vote. The Board of Fire and Police Commissioners closed the Executive Session at 8:14 p.m. ANNOUNCEMENTS NONE ADJOURNMENT A motion was made by Chulick to adjourn.
