Decisions made: 24.01 – Recommended deletion of Municipal code and rewrite all codes 24.01.01 – Delete 24.02 – Add paragraph on IL. State Plumbing Code to Supersede. 103.1 – Code Official Leave this section. 106.1 – Delete 106.3 – Delete 106.3.3 – Delete 108.2 – Change to section 2015 in IBC: 109.2 & 109.3 Fee section 109.3 – Delete 114.3 – Delete 110.3 – Delete, add fines into fees 110.2 – Delete 112.0 –112.7 This section is now in 113.0 of the 2015 code. This section will be rewritten for a stand-alone chapter for the BBA. Add trades to BBA and delete other boards. Approved BBA Subcommittee 021916 minutes 502.1 – Delete 903.3.5 – As amended April 24, 2014 907.2.10.2 – Delete, Changed to Section 907.2.11.6 906.0 – Fire Department to review Chapter 11 Accessibility Leave in 2015 as is. 1104.3.3 – Changed to 1104.4 in the 2015 leave as is. 2308.9.3 – Delete Elevators – Delete 3410.2 – Delete 3410.2.1 – 3410.2.5 Delete 24.02.1 – Delete and additions to the IRC 2015. R105.2, R105.2.1, R105.2.2, R105.2.3, R105.2.4, R105.2.5, R105.2, R113.4 – Rewrite Need a section on pools over 24”, Reroofing Fee’s, Items not exempt include plumbing, electrical. Fines in charts. R113.4 Penalty. Add to fines in charts. R112.5 – Delete R104.11.2 – Delete R104.11.3 – Correct References add “State Requirements” Delete part Manufactures of modular housing. R104.11.4 – Delete R104.11.4.1 – Delete R104.11.4.2 – Delete R 104.11.4.3 – Delete R104.11.4 – Delete R104.11.4.1 – Delete R104.11.4.2 – Delete R104.11.4.3 – Delete R301.2 (1) – Replace with 2015 table R301.2 (1) Values same as Rockford 30 PSF Ground Snow Etc. Wind Design (S) 115 + 89 (adj.) R301.3 – Delete R309.2 – To remain with the wording. In 2015 IRC the new section that relates to this is R302.6. The garage separation from the house and attic will stay at 5/8 inch fire code gypsum board. R309.3 – This section wording will stay the same. New section # in the 2015 IRC. This is R309.1. BBA wants to keep this sentence, the common wall of garage and living space, including stairwells, shall have a four (4) inch concrete curb to protect separation wall from liquids. Delete Exception: Garage floors with a slope of 1.5% grade that continues to slope from the garage floor down the driveway are not required to have to have four (4) inch gas curb. R403.1 – Delete. 2015 IRC same section but wording has changed to where it covers this addition, which was added in the old 2003 code. Add this paragraph and BBA will verify Designation. Review beyond this section not completed thru the BBA. 2/18/16. C. The meeting adjourned at 5:00 PM. The next meeting will be the full Board of Appeals on March 4, 2016 at 9:00 AM.
