MINUTES CITY OF DEKALB DeKalb Firefighters Pension Fund March 3, 2020 The Board of Trustees of the DeKalb Firefighters Pension Fund held a Special Meeting on March 3, 2020, in the Glidden Conference room at 200 S. Fourth St., DeKalb, Illinois. Pat Eriksen, President of the Board, called the meeting to order at 8:05 AM. ROLL CALL President Eriksen called the roll. Members of the DeKalb Firefighters Pension Fund present included Pat Eriksen, Chris Ziola, Bill Kalal, Ray Krueger, and Fire Chief Jeff McMaster. No members were absent. Also present were Assistant City Manager Ray Munch and Recording Secretary Natalie Nelson. APPROVAL OF AGENDA Bill Kalal motioned to approve the agenda, Chris Ziola seconded the motion, and the motion passed by unanimous voice vote. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION None. NEW BUSINESS 1. Approval of Battalion Chief Jeff Jossendal's pension for his retirement Pat Eriksen distributed copies of the financial figures related to Mr. Jossendal’s pension, including his annual salary of $117,515.85 and his initial monthly payment of $6,895.90. He will have worked 28 years and 2 months. No discussion ensued. Mr. Ziola motioned to approve Mr. Jossendal’s pension, Mr. Kreuger seconded the motion, and a roll call vote was conducted. Aye votes were cast by Eriksen, Ziola, Kalal, Krueger, and McMaster. No Nay votes were cast. The meeting adjourned at 8:09 AM. The next regular meeting of the DeKalb Firefighters Pension Board is scheduled to occur on April 9, 2020, at 8:00 AM, in the training room on the second floor of the Police Station, located at 700 W.
