Minutes Business, Arts, Workforce, & Aviation Services Committee Committee Members: New, Chair; Gilmore, Vice Chair; Brooks, Herndon, Lopez, Ortega Committee Staff: Jonathan Griffin Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 1:30 PM City and County Building, Room 391 Attendance Present: 6- New, Gilmore, Brooks, Herndon, Ortega, Clark Absent: 1- López Action Items 19-0453 Approves a concessionaire contract with Service America Corp., doing business as Centerplate, for $90,000,000 and for ten years to be the city’s primary food and beverage provider for the Convention Center and the Denver Performing Arts Center venues (THTRS-201950097). A motion offered by Councilmember Herndon, duly seconded by Councilmember Gilmore, that Council Resolution 19-0453 be approved for filing. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- New, Gilmore, Brooks, Herndon, Ortega, Clark Nay: 0 Absent: 1- López 19-0542 Authorizes the Manager of Finance to issue City and County of Denver, for and on behalf of its Department of Aviation, Airport Senior Revenue Bonds, Series 2019A-D in an amount not to exceed $500 million for the purpose of refunding airport bonds, paying for swap terminations and paying costs of issuance expenses. A motion offered by Councilmember Ortega, duly seconded by Councilmember Herndon, that Council Bill 19-0542 be approved for filing.
