Any protests against Council Bills 23-1483 and 23-1484 must be filed with the Council Offices no later than noon on Monday, November 20, 2023. Council President Torres also announced that on Monday, November 6, 2023, Council is scheduled to sit as the quasi-judicial Board of Equalization to consider reduction of total cost assessments for Local Maintenance Districts. One written protest of assessment for the Phase II Broadway Pedestrian Mall, which is located in Council District 7, was filed with the Manager of the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure by the deadline of October 19, 2023. Therefore, Council will sit as the Board of Equalization for the Phase II Broadway Pedestrian Mall.
