Two minutes per speaker. Individuals wishing to speak must sign up in the Council Conference room (3rd Floor City & County Building, Rm. 391) beginning 1:00 pm until 1:15 pm prior to the meeting start time of 1:30 pm. The order of speakers will be determined by the Committee Chair. Consent Items On the next page is an item on the Committee's consent agenda today. Routine, non-controversial ordinance requests that do not involve substantive policy changes are placed on Committee agendas as consent items with the approval of Committee chairs. Council members receive advance notice of consent items and may request that an item be scheduled for Committee discussion instead.
