17-0375 Legislative Update: State Budget
Tanya Kelly-Bowry and Ernestine Mondragon, Policy Matters, discussed the state
budget process and the funding that the lobbying teamed worked to include for
the City of Denver.
17-0374 Executive Session: City Cyber Security
A motion offered by Councilmember Ortega, duly seconded by Councilmember
Espinoza, that Presentation 17-0374 be entered into executive session. The
motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 5- Flynn, Black, Espinoza, Ortega, Brooks
Nay: 0
Absent: 2- Kniech, López

Below are items that were approved on consent today.
17-0365 A resolution approving a proposed Sixth Amendatory Agreement by and
between the City and County of Denver and Tyler Technologies, Inc., to
extend term and increase funds to cover maintenance, technical support
and related professional services.
Adds $476,810 and two years to the contract with Tyler Technologies, Inc.
for a new total amount of $2,088,503.20 and end date of 12-31-18 for
continued maintenance, technical support, and professional services for
programs used for assessing property value and the billing and collecting
of property taxes (TECHS-CE62074). The last regularly scheduled Council

meeting within the 30-day review period is on 5-1-17. The Committee
approved filing this resolution by consent on 3-28-17.
This Resolution 17-0365 was approved by consent.
17-0367 A bill for an ordinance amending the classification and pay plan for
employees in the Career Service and for certain employees not in the
Career Service.
Revises the Community Rate Salary and Training and Intern Salary
schedules for City employees to comply with the State increase in
minimum wage for 2017 from $8.31 per hour to $9.30 per hour, abolishes
certain pay grades and associated ranges, and moves all classes in the
Short Range schedule to the Community Rate schedule. The Committee
approved filing this bill by consent on 3-28-17.
