Routine, non-controversial ordinance requests that do not involve substantive policy changes are placed on Committee agendas as consent items with the approval of Committee chairs. Council members receive advance notice of consent items and may request that an item be scheduled for Committee discussion instead. If no Council member does so by the Committee's normal convening time, the requests will be considered approved by the Committee and eligible for filing. 17-1030 Changes the pay grade of the Director of the Denver Office of Economic Development from A-820 to A-823. 17-1034 Grants the authority to acquire through negotiated purchase or condemnation, any property interest as needed for the traffic and pedestrian safety improvement project at various intersections on Colorado Boulevard between Mexico Avenue and Virginia Avenue and at the intersections of 13th Avenue and Lincoln Street and 8th Avenue and Speer Boulevard, including easement interests, access rights, improvements, buildings, fixtures, licenses, permits and other appurtenances in Council Districts 3, 6 and 10.
