21-0703 Amends Chapter 38, Article III of the Denver Revised Municipal Code to
create a new crime to knowingly refuse to pay a wage or compensation to
a worker or falsely deny the amount of a wage owed, the validity thereof, or
that the same is due.
Council Bill 21-0703 was approved for filing
21-0706 Amends Ordinance No. 591, Series of 2021, to authorize $46,208,643 of
spending in 2021 in the American Rescue Plan Act Grant Fund to restore
services that were reduced due to revenue loss resulting from COVID-19.

21-0705 Rescinds $1,000,000 from General Fund Contingency to make an
appropriation in the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment
to fund an expansion of the STAR program and rescinds $300,000 from
General Fund Contingency to make an appropriation in Human Rights and
Community Partnerships to support community partners that collaborate
with DPD in efforts to strengthen communities in areas of Denver identified
as having high criminal activity.
A motion offered by Chair Hinds, duly seconded by Vice Chair Kniech, that
Council Bill 21-0705 be approved for filing en bloc, carried by the following vote:

6-30-26 to lease space at 2900 Downing Street to lead the newly formed

advances the public health, safety, welfare, and economic security of the
community in Council District 9 (FINAN-202158496-00).
Council Resolution 21-0677 was approved by consent
21-0693 Amends Ordinance No. 1367, Series of 2019, to change the expending
authority for the Disposable Bag Fee Fund from the Executive Director of
the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure to the Executive
Director of the Office of Climate Action, Sustainability and Resiliency.

21-0696 Approves the Mayoral reappointments of Sara Hazel, Adam Piasecki and
Elise Rahn to the Denver Women’s Commission for terms effective
immediately and expiring on 6-30-23, or until a successor is duly
appointed.

Court and Denargo Street in Council District 9 (FINAN-202158926-01).
