A motion offered by Vice Chair Black, duly seconded by Councilmember Kniech, that Council Bill 23-0403 be approved for filing, carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Sawyer, Black, CdeBaca, Hinds, Kniech, Torres Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Ortega 23-0513 A bill for an ordinance referring a question to the ballot at the November 7, 2023 coordinated election concerning the permanent extension of the 0.15% sales and use tax dedicated to funding for the Denver Preschool Program (DPP), as originally approved by the voters at the November 4, 2014 election, and in connection therewith authorizing the DPP to utilize non-city funds to administer other preschool programs to non-Denver residents.
