Minutes Land Use, Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Committee Members: Herndon, Chair; Sandoval, Vice-Chair; Black; CdeBaca; Kashmann; Torres Committee Staff: Zach Rothmier Tuesday, August 6, 2019, 10:30 AM City & County Building, Room 391 Attendance Present: 8- Herndon, Sandoval, Black, CdeBaca, Torres, Clark, Hinds, Kniech Absent: 1- Kashmann Action Items 19-0779 Approves an individual landmark designation for property located at 601 East Colfax Avenue in Council District 10. A motion offered by Clark, duly seconded by Vice Chair Sandoval, that Council Bill 19-0779 be approved for filing. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Herndon, Sandoval, Black, CdeBaca, Torres, Clark Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Kashmann 19-0784 Amends various sections of Chapter 54 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (DRMC) concerning the operation of electric scooters in the City. A motion offered by Black, duly seconded by Torres, that Council Bill 19-0784 be approved for filing. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Herndon, Sandoval, Black, CdeBaca, Torres, Clark Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Kashmann Consent Items 19-0766 Approves a one-time capital equipment expenditure in an amount not to exceed $35,000 to procure one John Deere gator utility vehicle in place of a Bobcat that was authorized in the 2019 budget, to support citywide Public Works Wastewater operations. Council Bill 19-0767 was approved by consent 19-0775 Amends a contract with IPS Group, Inc. by adding $1,500,000 for a new total of $21,500,000 and adding one year for a new end date of 10-31-20 to provide technology for on-street parking management systems, including installation and testing of meters, citywide (CE95036).
