Minutes Land Use, Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Committee Members: Sandoval, Chair; Herndon, Vice-Chair; Black, CdeBaca, Clark, Kashmann Committee Staff: Luke Palmisano Tuesday, November 1, 2022, 10:30 AM City & County Building, Council Chambers, Room 450 Attendance Present: 6- Herndon, CdeBaca, Black, Torres, Kashmann, Clark Absent: 1- Sandoval Action Items 22-1355 Amends Chapter 27 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code to extend the date by which applicable legacy projects must obtain the required building permit from 12-31-2022 to 6-16-2023, allowing Community Planning and Development the additional time required to review all applicable legacy plans submitted prior to the passage of Expanding Housing Affordability. A motion offered by Councilmember Black, duly seconded by Councilmember Clark, that Council Bill 22-1355 be approved for filing, carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Herndon, CdeBaca, Black, Torres, Kashmann, Clark Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Sandoval 22-1408 For an ordinance concerning a moratorium on development on parcels containing mobile home parks. A motion offered by Councilmember Clark, duly seconded by Councilmember Kashmann, that Council Bill 22-1408 be approved for filing, carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Herndon, CdeBaca, Black, Torres, Kashmann, Clark Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Sandoval City and County of Denver Page 1 Printed on 11/2/2022 Minutes Land Use, Transportation & Infrastructure Committee Tuesday, November 1, 2022 Consent Items Block Vote Block Vote A motion offered to approve the following items en bloc, carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Herndon, CdeBaca, Black, Torres, Kashmann, Clark Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Sandoval 22-1366 Relinquishes (3) three separate easements: easement 1 - the Covenant, Reception No. 1985084670, to be relinquished in its entirety; easement 2 - the easement, as reserved in Vacating Ordinance No. 30, Series of 1943, to be relinquished in its entirety, and easement 3 - the easement, as reserved in Vacating Ordinance No. 38, Series of 1946, to be partially relinquished, all located at 4400 North Fox Street in Council District 9. A motion offered that Council Bill 22-1366 be approved by consent en bloc, carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Herndon, CdeBaca, Black, Torres, Kashmann, Clark Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Sandoval 22-1367 Amends an on-call contract with J&K Trucking, LLC by adding $3,500,000 for a new total of $6,250,000 to provide hauling services, including labor and trucks, for all milling, paving, and other operations, citywide. No change to contract duration (DOTI-202159927-01/ 202265139-01).
