DEPARTMENTAL MATTERS IN THE REGULAR COURSE OF BUSINESS: Mayor's Office Barry Burch Jr 18-0670 * Approves the Mayoral reappointments of Charlie Brown Resolution and Ronald Younger and the appointment of Janet Kieler to the Metro Wastewater Reclamation District Board of Directors for terms effective immediately and expiring 6-30-20, or until a successor is duly appointed. Arts & Venues Tad Bowman 18-0667 * Approves a revenue contract with T-Mobile West LLC for Resolution $571,139.28 and through 3-31-26 for a distributed antenna system at Red Rocks Amphitheatre to provide better telecommunications coverage at the venue (THTRS-201733538-00). City Attorney Lisa Rorden 18-0625 Approves a contract with Nossaman LLP for $538,000 and Resolution through 06-30-22 to assist in the implementation of the development agreement for the Great Hall during the design and construction phase including providing legal analyses during implementation and to assist with the review and preparation of related correspondence and documents at Denver International Airport (2018-42194). Community Planning and Development Jeff Hirt 18-0617 Rezones property located at 2500 East 44th Avenue, 4348 Bill Columbine Street, 4301 & 4349 Elizabeth Street from E-TU-B to PUD-G 18 in Council District 9. Department of Public Health and Environment Terra Haseman Swazer & Alice Nightengale Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, June 26, 2018 Page 2 18-0662 * Approves a one-year, $828,434 contract with Colorado Resolution Health Network (Denver Colorado AIDS Project) and Howard Dental Center for medical case management, mental health services, early intervention, emergency financial and housing assistance, and substance abuse assistance to individuals living with HIV/AIDS (201842310-00). 18-0672 Amends Chapter 8 and with conforming amendments to Bill Chapters 2 and 24 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (DRMC) regarding animal safety to reflect current best practices meant to protect public safety, public health, and the environment and to reduce possibility of misinterpretation. Finance Feven Netsanet 18-0673 * Appropriates an additional $100,000 to the Public Health Bill and Wellness Special Revenue fund for the Healthy Foods Challenge to facilitate access to fresh food in the Globeville and Elyria-Swansea neighborhoods in Council District 9. Human Services Vince Rivera & Tami Tapia 18-0663 * Adds $475,000 and one year to a contract with Jewish Resolution Family Service of Colorado, Inc. for a new total of $1,465,000 through 6-30-19 for case management services and support for individuals and families in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program, to build effective relationships with participants, and assist families in becoming stable and self-sufficient (SOCSV 2017-34826-01). 18-0664 * Adds $217,548 and one year to a contract with Mile High Resolution Montessori Early Learning Centers for a new total of $835,548 through 06-30-19 for short term child care at the Good Beginnings Child Care Center for Denver Department of Human Services clients that are participating in programs, classes, job search workshops, Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, June 26, 2018 Page 3 interviews, and orientations located at the Richard T. Castro Human Services building at 1200 Federal Boulevard in Council District 3 (2015-22525-03). 18-0665 * Adds $722,144 and one year to a contract with Bayaud Resolution Enterprises, Inc. for a new total of $1,030,258 through 6-30-19 for services and support for individuals and families in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program including support for participants applying for Social Security benefits, employment services, and vocational assessment services (SOCSV-2017-34845-02). 18-0666 * Adds $950,000 and one year to a contract with Colorado Resolution Women’s Employment and Education, Inc. for a new total of $1.9 million through 6-30-19 for services and support for individuals and families in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program including case management, life skills classes, computer literacy courses, mental and emotional support services, employment services, and lifetime access to coaching to help individuals sustain long-term employment (SOCSV-2017-34819-01). 18-0671 * Adds $491,306 and six months to a contract with The Resolution Salvation Army for a new total of $1,984,612 through 12-31-18 for emergency shelter operations at the Crossroads Emergency Shelter located at 1901 29th Street in Council District 9 (SOCSV 2016-31673-02).
