DEPARTMENTAL MATTERS IN THE REGULAR COURSE OF BUSINESS: Mayor's Office Romaine Pacheco 20-0547 * Approves the Mayoral appointment of Dwayne Meeks and Resolution the Mayoral reappointment of Vera Atilano to the Denver Head Start Policy Council for terms effective immediately and expiring 7-20-21, or until a successor is duly appointed. City Council Councilwoman Robin Kniech 20-0573 Submits to the Denver electorate a question allowing Bill Denver City Council authority to initiate supplemental appropriation or transfers. Community Planning and Development Francisca Penafiel Vial 20-0546 Approves an official map amendment to rezone property Bill from U-SU-B to U-SU-B1, located at 2755 Irving Street in Council District 1. 20-0550 Approves an official map amendment to rezone property Bill from E-SU-Dx to E-SU-D1x, located at 516 Newton Street in Council District 3. Denver Economic Development and Opportunity Susan Liehe 20-0554 * Approves a grant agreement with the U.S. Department of Resolution Housing & Urban Development (HUD) for the 2020 allocation of $6,821,276 through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program to improve housing and living conditions and expand economic opportunities for low- and moderate-income persons (OEDEV-202054913). Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, June 23, 2020 Page 2 20-0555 * Approves a grant agreement with the U.S. Department of Resolution Housing & Urban Development (HUD) for $4,012,373 and through 12-31-20 to provide special Community Development Block Grant (CDBG-CV) funds in response to the COVID-19 public health crisis (OEDEV-202054914). Department of Public Health and Environment Will Fenton 20-0549 * Amends a lease agreement with East Cherry Creek Valley Bill Water and Sanitation District Water Activity Enterprise, Inc. (ECCV) by adding five years for a new end date of 9-30-25 to allow ECCV to place a pole-mounted solar panel within the Arapahoe Disposal Site (DADS) property to protect the solar panel from vandalism. No change to agreement amount (ENVHL-201737242-00). Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Jason Gallardo 20-0539 * Approves an intergovernmental agreement with the Bill Regional Transportation District (RTD) for $2,049,000 for the contribution of Federal funding for the improvements along 48th Avenue from Brighton Boulevard to Claude Court to support access and safety improvements to the RTD 48th and Brighton Station at the National Western Center in Council District 9 (202054669). 20-0540 * Vacates a 914 square feet portion of 17th Street adjacent Bill to 1695 Platte Street, with reservations, in Council District 1. 20-0551 * Approves a contract with Hamon Infrastructure, Inc. for Resolution $4,907,500 and for 275 days for the reconstruction and improvements at the I-25 and Broadway Interchange, including curb and gutter, sidewalks, pedestrian ramps, driveways, storm sewer, a waterline, lighting, landscape/ irrigation and streetscape enhancements in Council District 7 (202053434). 20-0552 * Relinquishes a 981 square foot portion of the Bill non-exclusive easement established in the Vacation Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, June 23, 2020 Page 3 Ordinance No. 20190195, Series of 2019, located at 1243-1255 Tennyson Street, bound by North Uno Court, West 13th Avenue, North Stuart Street, and Dry Gulch Park in Council District 1. 20-0553 * Revokes Ordinance No. 571, Series of 2000 which granted Bill a revocable permit to BCN Development, LLC., their successors and assigns, to encroach into the right of way to include cornice band, awnings, landscaping trees with sprinklers and electrical outlets, pedestrian lights, balconies, and shoring at 300 West 11th Avenue in Council District 10. 20-0560 Approves an intergovernmental agreement with the Bill Regional Transportation District (RTD) for $12,828,834 for the contribution of Federal funding for the Reconstruction of the 16th Street Pedestrian Mall and Transitway in Council District 9 (202053934). 20-0561 Approves an interagency agreement with Denver Water Bill and establishes a capital fund and an appropriation for the reimbursement of $5,454,776 for work completed on water lines during the Reconstruction of the 16th Street Pedestrian Mall and Transitway in Council District 9 (202054479). Finance Julie Smith 20-0562 Amends the Downtown Denver Improvements Project Bill Funding Agreement with the Denver Urban Renewal Authority to revise submittal and reimbursement dates to align with the 16th Street Mall reconstruction project schedule, as well as updates workforce requirements to support the Denver Construction Pilot program. 20-0564 Amends chapter 18 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code Bill to add a retirement incentive for employees retiring before September 1, 2020. Technology Services Joe Saporito 20-0556 * Amends a contract with Tyler Technologies, Inc. by adding Resolution $4,327,250 for a new total of $14,327,250 and adding five years for a new end date of 5-21-25 for the continual use and support of the iasWorld Tax Administration software supporting the Department of Finance, citywide (TECHS-202054540).
