Denver Economic Development and Opportunity Susan Liehe 21-0195 * Approves a grant agreement with the Pikes Peak Workforce Resolution Center for $722,057.14 and through 12-31-23 to deliver the Pathways Home program providing job/career counseling and support services for persons exiting the justice system, citywide (OEDEV-202157429-00). 21-0196 * Approves a grant agreement with the U.S. Department of Resolution Labor Employment and Training Administration for $7,383,999 and for four years to deliver and expand the regional H1-B Technology in Colorado Partnership (TEC-P) Program that provides job/career counseling and training for people in industries such as information technology and advanced manufacturing, citywide (OEDEV-202157826-00). Denver International Airport Angela Casias 21-0214 Approves a contract with ThyssenKrupp Elevator for Resolution $40,000,000 and for five years for the modernization of passenger conveyance systems, including elevators, escalators, and moving walks at Denver International Airport (201952239-00). Department of Housing Stability Melissa Thate Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, March 9, 2021 Page 2 21-0215 * Amends a contract with Northeast Denver Housing Center Resolution Inc. by adding $750,000 for a new total of $3,950,000 and one year and one day for a new end date of 12-31-21 to operate the Coronavirus Emergency Rental and Utility Assistance Program (HOST-202054983-02). Department of Public Health and Environment Tristan Sanders & Will Fenton 21-0221 * Amends Chapter 24 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code Bill by adding language to the retail tobacco license provisions allowing retailers to apply and not be subject to proximity restrictions as long as they were in operation prior to January 1, 2021 within the City and County of Denver. Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Jason Gallardo 21-0174 * Amends an on-call agreement with the University of Bill Colorado at Denver by adding one year for a new end date of 7-01-22 for technical and professional services to be completed by undergraduate or graduate students under professorial supervision, citywide. No change to contract amount (202157838-01; 201842069-01). Finance Lisa Lumley 21-0218 * Approves a lease agreement with PRRC LLC for Resolution $782,599.92 and for 10 years, with an option to extend for an additional 5 years, for the lease of approximately 210,250 square feet of City owned land for use as a parking lot to be built by PRRC LLC located at 3300 North Kalamath Street adjacent to Cuernavaca Park, and includes depositing $150,000 of PRRC LLC Funds in an escrow account for landscape funds for the Westside Line recreational trail, in Council District 1 (FINAN-202157861). 21-0219 * Authorizes the Division of Real Estate to negotiate and Bill amend commercial leases in City-owned buildings to provide an additional three months of rent relief, with the option to extend for an additional three months, in Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, March 9, 2021 Page 3 response to the COVID-19 pandemic. 21-0220 * Approves a temporary license agreement with IHC Scott, Resolution Inc. for $10 and for 90 days for the use of a City owned vacant lot located at 2597 West 11th Avenue for construction staging purposes for work being completed on behalf of Denver Water for the Sun Valley project in Council District 3 (FINAN-202157703). General Services Jennifer Guillen & Kami Johle 21-0203 * Amends a master purchase order by changing the vendor’s Resolution name from Advanced Chemicals Technology to Advanced Technology, LLC for dishwashing and laundry compounds for the Denver County jails and detention center. No change to master purchase order amount or duration (SC-00004766; SC-00004704). 21-0204 * Amends a contract with Kone, Inc. by adding $9,073.47 Resolution for a new total of $1,074,634.47 for two additional exterior access doors to the mechanical penthouse as part of the modernization and installation of elevators in the Minoru Yasui Building located at 303 West Colfax Avenue in Council District 9.
