Clayton Trust, doing business as Clayton Early Learning, for $1,181,108.17 and through 7-31-2024, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to expand the Clayton Cares Market, as well as support Clayton’s Seed to Stomach curriculum located at 3801 Martin Luther King Boulevard in Council District 9 (ENVHL-202263787). 22-1106 Amends a grant agreement with Boys and Girls Club of Resolution Metro Denver, Inc. by adding $458,991.07 for a new total of $765,165.07 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to provide nutrition education, onsite gardening programming, educational field trips, youth and family cooking classes, weekend food boxes, and quarterly meal-based family nights at multiple locations, citywide (ENVHL- 202159268-00/ ENVHL-202264311). 22-1107 Approves a grant agreement with Front Line Farming for Resolution $517,057.48 and through 7-31-2024, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to provide food education, hands-on classes on farming, and food-based nutrition for youth and families at 1650 South Birch Street in Council District 6 (ENVHL-202263811). 22-1108 Approves a grant agreement with LifeSpan Local, LLC, for Resolution $918,038 and through 7-31-2024, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to provide food and outreach materials to families through schools, early childhood education providers, and other youth facing organizations, to help feed and connect children and families to existing community food organizations, citywide (ENVHL-202263672). 22-1109 Approves a grant agreement with Metro Caring for Resolution $623,887 and through 7-31-2024, through funding from Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, September 27, 2022 Page 4 the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to provide fresh food and nutrition education to youth and families at 1100 East 18th Avenue in Council District 9. (ENVHL-202263673). 22-1110 Amends a grant agreement with Barton Institute for Resolution community Action, doing business as Commun, by adding $ 343,742 for a new total of $577,887 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to provide healthy, nutritious meals to youth and the community through food boxes and health education at 3001 South Federal Boulevard in Council District 2 (ENVHL- 202159476-00/ ENVHL-202263891). 22-1111 Amends a grant agreement with Denver Food Rescue by Resolution adding $377,410 for a new total of $894,167 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to operate the “No Cost Grocery Program,” which provides fresh, healthy food for free and serving children at multiple locations citywide (ENVHL- 202055214-00/ ENVHL-202264023). 22-1112 Amends a grant agreement with Denver Food Rescue by Resolution adding $375,051 for a new contract total of $626,744 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to provide healthy, nutritious meals to youth through food boxes at multiple locations, citywide (ENVHL- 202159284-00/ ENVHL-202263897). 22-1113 Amends a grant agreement with Denver Inner City Parish Resolution (DICP) by adding $616,359.82 for a new total of $1,028,254.82 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, for the Greens-N-Grains Community Nutrition Food Truck and the Veggie RX Nutrition Education Program to provide education and healthy, nutritious food to youth and the community, Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, September 27, 2022 Page 5 citywide (ENVHL- 202160277-00/ ENVHL-202264175). 22-1114 Amends an intergovernmental agreement with School Bill District No. 1, by adding $187,777 for a new total of $717,127 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to continue supporting urban farming operations and food programs with accompanying food justice, health and nutrition curriculum and work-based learning opportunities, and providing fresh produce to students and community at Bruce Randolph School in Council District 9 (ENVHL- 202055488-00/ ENVHL-202263895). 22-1115 Amends an intergovernmental agreement with School Bill District No. 1 by adding $ 356,190.04 for a new total of $ 847,595.04 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to support the West Campus Food Bank to help address food insecurity of students by providing access to fresh, healthy, nutritious food to students and families at West Middle and High School in Council District 3 (ENVHL- 202055349-00/ ENVHL-202264170). 22-1116 Amends a grant agreement with Denver Urban Gardens by Resolution adding $445,453 for a new total of $1,235,225 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to continue food justice coursework and internships, add new at-home gardening programming, virtual programming, and cooking classes at multiple locations, citywide (ENVHL- 202055206-00/ ENVHL-202264022). 22-1117 Amends a grant agreement with Food for Thought Denver Resolution by adding $375,375 for a new total of $792,875 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to operate food pantries to provide weekend meals to students and families experiencing poverty, citywide (ENVHL- 202055208-00/ ENVHL-202264060). Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, September 27, 2022 Page 6 22-1118 Amends a grant agreement with Metro Caring by adding Resolution $296,073.80 for a new total of $664,410.80 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to provide hands-on education in nutrition, cooking, home economics, kitchen gardening, and other programming at 1100 East 18th Avenue in Council District 9 (ENVHL- 202055217-00/ ENVHL-202264097). 22-1119 Amends a grant agreement with Mile High Squash, doing Resolution business as Mile High 360, by adding $ 381,802.30 for a new total of $982,930.30 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to continue providing monthly food supports, nutrition classes and other programming, primarily for low-income, Latinx students and their families, at multiple locations in Council Districts 1 and 3 (ENVHL- 202055489-00/ ENVHL-202264098). 22-1120 Amends a grant agreement with Sewall Child Development Resolution Center, Inc. by adding $428,203.61 for a new total of $713,593.61 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to expand their Culture of Wellness Program, which provides family educational activities such as food budgeting, meal planning and gardening at 940 Fillmore Street in Council District 10 (ENVHL- 202159244-00/ ENVHL-202264107). 22-1121 Amends a grant agreement with Stone Soup, Inc., doing Resolution business as Stigma, by adding $481,500 for a new total of $901,145 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to buy food from farmers, ranchers and distributors, with Denver Public School staff and social workers delivering the food to pantries at multiple locations in Council Districts 2, 6, 9, and 10 (ENVHL- 202159270-00/ ENVHL-202264167). 22-1122 Amends a grant agreement with The Urban Farm by adding Resolution Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, September 27, 2022 Page 7 $135,191 for a new total of $522,180 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, for apprenticeships, experiential education, including intergenerational family workshops, youth fieldtrips, after-school programming and summer camps on urban gardening and farming at 10200 Smith Road in Council District 8 (ENVHL- 202055282-00/ ENVHL-202264173). 22-1123 Amends a grant agreement with Montbello Organizing Resolution Committee by adding $393,341.30 for a new total of $999,080.30 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to partner with low-income Montbello youth and their families to provide educational programs about food and nutrition, grow healthy food at Montbello Urban Farm, and provide youth with food boxes and meals through the Struggle of Love food pantry at 4879 Crown Boulevard in Council District 8 (ENVHL- 202055272-00/ ENVHL-202264163). 22-1124 Amends a grant agreement with Re:Vision International, Resolution by adding $642,096.00 for a new total of $1,415,074.00 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to continue offering culturally relevant, healthy, locally-sourced food systems and education for youth ages 18 and under, in multiple locations in Council District 3 (ENVHL- 202055209-00/ ENVHL-202264174). 22-1125 Amends a grant agreement with The GrowHaus, by adding Resolution $498,116 for a new total of $1,417,967 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to increase access to healthy food through no or low-cost food boxes, provide SNAP and WIC outreach and enrollment support, and healthy food focused youth and multigenerational programming, located in multiple locations in Council Districts 6, 8 and 9 (ENVHL- 202055346-00 / ENVHL-202264103). Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, September 27, 2022 Page 8 22-1126 Amends an intergovernmental agreement with the Denver Bill Housing Authority by adding $310,233 for a new total of $648,899 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-23, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to provide nutrition and healthy cooking classes, healthy snacks for youth, and a youth-led “vegetable Artscape,” located at multiple locations in Council District 3 (ENVHL-202264165-01/ ENVHL-202264165). 22-1127 Amends an intergovernmental agreement with School Bill District No. 1 by adding $1,000,000 for a new total of $2,000,000 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to provide Denver Public Schools with chef education to reimagine K-12 food service with quality ingredients and entrees, across 166 locations serving youth citywide (ENVHL- 202160277-00 / ENVHL-202264243). 22-1128 Amends a grant agreement with Vive Wellness, by adding Resolution $750,000 for a new total of $1,725,000 and one year for a new end date of 7-31-2023, through funding from the Healthy Food for Denver’s Kids Initiative, to deliver healthy food bags, provide after-school snacks and programming serving families citywide (ENVHL- 202055219-00/ ENVHL-202264172). 22-1137 * Amends an intergovernmental agreement with Jefferson Bill County Public Health by adding $198,000 for a new total $962,653.64 and one year for a new end date of 06-30-2023 to continue building collaborative food systems and neighborhood environments to increase equitable access to healthy, affordable foods as part of the Food in Communities (FIC) program, citywide (ENVHL-201842560/ ENVH-202264717).
