DEPARTMENTAL MATTERS IN THE REGULAR COURSE OF BUSINESS: Children's Affairs Terra Swazer 23-0184 * Amends a contract with Cityspan Technologies, Inc. by Resolution adding $337,450 for a new total of $900,950 and 14 months for a new end date of 12-31-2024 to continue providing access and support for the Denver Afterschool Alliance (DAA) Connect Management Information System to support youth-serving organizations track and report on child and youth outcomes for out-of-school-time and youth violence prevention programs, citywide MOEAI-201845370/ MOEAI-202366520-03). 23-0185 * Approves a grant agreement with the United States Resolution Department of Health and Human Services for $13,029,096 and through 6-30-2024 for continued operation of the Denver Great Kids Head Start program serving approximately 1,300 children, citywide (MOEAI-202366770). City Council Luke Palmisano 23-0199 An ordinance amending Section 18-81, D.R.M.C., setting Bill the salaries of elected officers for terms beginning July 17, 2023 Community Planning and Development Fran Penafiel, Tony Lechuga & Courtland Hyser 23-0181 * Approves a map amendment to rezone property from Bill U-SU-C to U-SU-B1, located at 2208 South Williams Street in Council district 6. 23-0182 Approves a map amendment to rezone property from PUD Bill 499 to G-MU-3, located at 750 East 9th Avenue in Council District 10. County Court Jonathan Moskoe 23-0193 * Approves a contract with Insight Public Sector, Inc. for Resolution $587,191.54 and three years for various Microsoft software licensing for Denver County Court (COURT-202366696-00). Denver Public Library Melissa Bordwine 23-0183 * Approves a contract with Bibliotheca, LLC for $769,226.65 Resolution and through 1-31-2028 to lease self-checkout machines and related software licensing for all 27 Denver Public Library branch locations, instead of paying an annual licensing fee, owning the machines and handling replacement costs (BOOKS-202265188). Department of Housing Stability Jack Wylie 23-0189 * Approves a contract with The Salvation Army for Resolution $3,762,300 and through 12-31-2023 to provide intake assessment, short and long-term shelter services, and housing navigation services to families staying in non-congregate emergency shelter, citywide (HOST-202366561). 23-0190 * Approves a contract with the Colorado Coalition for the Resolution Homeless for $6,000,000 in American Rescue Plan Act funds and through 12-31-2024 to continue serving as the lead agency for a rehousing collaborative with a coalition of service providers to support short-term bridge shelter, rehousing rental assistance, and other supportive services, citywide (HOST 202266178). 23-0191 * Amends a contract with the Volunteers of America (VOA) Resolution Colorado Branch by adding $304,680 for a new total of $3,662,680 to continue providing family motel shelter operations and supportive services for the respite program at the VOA Family Motel. Finance Kiki Turner 23-0160 Amends a lease agreement with DP Media Network, LLC by Resolution adding $1,908,964.50 for a new total of $43,475,016.90 and 19 months for a new end date of 2-28-2025 to continue leasing needed city office space on the 7th floor of the Denver Post building at 101 West Colfax Avenue in Council District 9 (FINAN- 201626030-00/ FINAN-202366679-05). 23-0187 * Appropriates $5 Million in the Colorado Convention Center Bill Capital Fund (38422) for Colorado Convention Center Maintenance to correct an omission in the 2023 Long Bill. 23-0188 * Authorizes the purchase of capital equipment from the Bill Parks Legacy Fund (15828) to support irrigation system projects for smaller parks. Sheriff Dr. Nikki Johnson 23-0192 * Amends a revenue agreement with State of Colorado Office Bill of Behavioral Health to modify the scope of work and exhibits for substance use disorder, mental health treatment, competency enhancements, and jail medication assisted treatment at Denver County Jail.
