Department of Housing Stability Sabrina Allie 23-0912 * Approves a contract with Colorado Coalition for the Resolution Homeless for $720,053 and one year to provide 14 beds and related services for people with acute medical needs as part of the Respite Care Program, citywide (HOST-202368729). Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, July 18, 2023 Page 2 23-0913 Approves a grant agreement with The St. Francis Center Resolution for $1,350,000 and ending 12-31-2039 to provide supportive housing services to 59 older adult households experiencing or at-risk of experiencing homelessness, located at 221 Federal Boulevard in Council District 3 (HOST-202368709). 23-0914 Approves a loan agreement with The St. Francis Center for Resolution $2,700,000 and 60 years to support the development of 59-units of supportive housing for older adults experiencing or at the risk of experiencing homelessness, with one on-site manager unit, located at 221 Federal Boulevard in Council District 3 (HOST-202368730). 23-0951 * Amends a contract with U.S. Motels Denver North, Inc. by Resolution adding $671,200 for a new total of $900,000 to continue providing non-congregate shelter for individuals and families experiencing homelessness, citywide. No change to contract duration (HOST-202367041-01). Department of Transportation and Infrastructure Jason Gallardo 23-0917 * Approves an intergovernmental agreement with Denver Bill Public Schools District One (DPS) for $2,000,000 and through 6-30-2024 for the city to collect trash, recycling and composting at DPS schools, citywide (202368156). 23-0920 * Renames a portion of Packing House Road and a portion of Bill North Franklin Street to North National Western Drive, located in Council District 9. 23-0921 * Amends an intergovernmental agreement with Urban Bill Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD), doing business as Mile High Flood Control District (MHFD), for $1,500,000, ($750,000 from MHFD and $750,000 from the city), for a new total of $6,000,000 for continued design and construction of drainage and flood control improvements for Marston Lake North at Bowles Ditch, in Council District 2. Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, July 18, 2023 Page 3 23-0922 * Amends an intergovernmental agreement with Urban Bill Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD), doing business as Mile High Flood District (MHFD), for $2,1900,000 ($1,190,000 from MHFD and $1,000,000 from the city), for a new total of $6,131,919.38 for continued design and construction of drainage and flood control improvements at Sanderson Gulch from Florida Avenue to Arkansas Avenue, in Council District 2. No change to agreement duration (DOTI-202368614-02/202159502-02). 23-0924 * Approves a grant agreement with the Federal Highway Resolution Administration (FHWA) Safer Streets 4 All program for $720,000, (includes a city match of $144,000), and three years to implement new and existing road safety audit project recommendations and reports, citywide (DOTI-202368719). 23-0925 * Grants a revocable permit, subject to certain terms and Resolution conditions, to Cherokee Partners Denver, LLC, a Colorado limited liability company their successors and assigns, to encroach into the right-of-way with existing stairs and stoops, located at West 11th Avenue and Cherokee Street in Council District 10. 23-0926 * Amends an intergovernmental agreement with Urban Bill Drainage and Flood Control District (UDFCD), doing business as Mile High Flood District (MHFD), by adding $4,000,000 ($2,000,000 from MHFD and $2,000,000 from the city), for a new total of $22,400,000 for continued design and construction of drainage and flood control improvements for Weir Gulch from the South Platte River to 8th Avenue, located in Council District 3. No change to agreement duration. (DOTI-202368473-02/202055100-04). 23-0927 * Vacates a portion of right-of-way along East 20th Avenue, Bill adjacent to 2001 North York Street, without reservations, in Council District 9. Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, July 18, 2023 Page 4 Department of Public Health and Environment Brenda Lawlor & Will Fenton 23-0907 * Amends a contract with SensibleIOT, LLC by adding Resolution $232,800 for a new total of $701,120 and 20 months for a new end date of 9-1-2025 to continue supporting the Love My Air program providing air quality data to the public in real-time, citywide (ESEQD-202368616-01/ENVHL-202056096003). Fire Desmond Fulton 23-0915 * Amends master purchase order with Fire-Dex GW LLC, Resolution formerly known as Minerva Bunker Gear Cleaners of Colorado Corp., by adding $150,000 for a new total of $900,000 and 3 months for a new end date of 10-31-2023 to continue the cleaning and repair of turnout equipment used by Denver firefighters, citywide (FIRES-202368800 / 202158628). General Services Elizabeth Hewes 23-0909 * Amends a master purchase order with Bob Barker Resolution Company by adding $700,000 for a new total of $1,000,000 to purchase clothing and personal care items for persons in custody with the Denver Sheriff’s Department, citywide. No change to contract duration (SC-00007368). 23-0910 * Approves a master purchase order with Parella Printing Resolution Company, doing business as Pyramid Print & Graphics, for $999,000 and through 8-31-2025 plus one 1-year option to extend, to provide printing services for city agencies, citywide (SC-00008073). Human Services Crystal Porter & Tami Tapia 23-0916 * Amends an intergovernmental agreement with Colorado Bill Department of Human Services - Office of Economic Security, adding $557,186.76 for a new total of Mayor-Council Meeting Tuesday, July 18, 2023 Page 5 $1,778,594.85 and one year for a new end date of 6-30-2024 to continue implementing the Disability Navigator Program, which assists persons with disabilities in navigating the application and/or appeal process for federal disability benefits under the Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program, citywide. (SOCSV-202160615-04/ SOCSV-202160615-03). 23-0941 * Amends a contract with Thriving Families by adding Resolution $184,590 for a new total of $838,094 and one year for a new end date of 6-30-2024 to continue providing targeted early intervention supports for mothers who recently had a child and are eligible for Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), citywide (SOCSV-202367648-05). 23-0942 * Amends a contract with Jewish Family Services of Resolution Colorado, Inc., by adding $601,937 for a new total of $2,221,860 and one year for a new end date of 6-30-2024 o continue providing intensive case management services to assist Colorado Works (C/W) Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) participants in advancing their skills with the goal of leading to employment opportunities and/or a connecting to services to reduce long term barriers to employment, citywide (SOCSV-202054897-03/SOCSV-202367652-03). Parks and Recreation Jesus Orrantia 23-0901 * Amends a contract with Birdseed Collective by adding two Resolution years for a new end date of 10-31-2025 to account for impacts from the Covid pandemic to continue providing free programming for all ages at the former Globeville Recreation Center, in Council District 9.
