Below are items that are on the Committee's consent agenda today. Routine,
non-controversial ordinance requests that do not involve substantive policy
changes are placed on Committee agendas as consent items with the approval
of Committee chairs. Council members receive advance notice of consent items
and may request that an item be scheduled for Committee discussion instead.
If no Council member does so by the Committee's normal convening time, the
requests will be considered approved by the Committee and eligible for filing.

17-1008 Approves the full grant award in the amount of $9,188,648 from the United
States Department of Health and Human Services for a contract term
through 6-30-18 to operate the Denver Great Kids Head Start program
through the Office of Children’s Affairs to provide services to 1,153 children
in Denver (MOEAI - 201736898).

17-1032 Approves a grant agreement with the State of Colorado in the amount of
$2,269,600 for a contract term through 8-31-20 to accept the Urban Areas
Security Initiative (UASI) funding for fiscal year 2017, and to allow the Office
of Emergency Management to procure a mobile multi-patient treatment and
transport vehicle for Denver Health and Hospital Authority (MOOEM -
201736805-00).

Council Resolution 17-1032 was approved by consent.
17-1057 Amends a contract with Asphalt Specialties Company, Inc. (ASCI) and
Waste Management of Colorado, Inc. (WM) to extend the contract term
through 12-31-25 to accommodate the upfront costs of installing the
asphalt and concrete batch plants. There is no change to the contract
amount (ENVHL-201627472-01).

17-1058 Amends a contract with Denver Health and Hospital Authority (DHHA) -
Transitional Residential Treatment (TRT) by adding $230,759 for a new
contract total in the amount of $783,216, and to extend the term one year
through 9-30-18 to provide services to a minimum of 30 individuals per
year involved with the criminal justice system within a comprehensive
continuum of care at DHHA's detoxification center Denver CARES
(2015-23052-03).
