Minutes Safety, Housing, Education & Homelessness Committee Committee Members: Kashmann, Chair; Torres, Vice-Chair; Sandoval, Kniech, Flynn, Sawyer Committee Staff: Emily Lapel Wednesday, September 25, 2019, 10:30 AM City & County Building, Room 391 Attendance Present: 5- Kashmann, Torres, Sandoval, Kniech, Sawyer Absent: 1- Flynn Action Items 19-0891 Amends Section 18-95 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code (DRMC) to amend the number of positions the District Attorney is authorized to appoint in the combined classification of chief deputy and senior chief deputy district attorney from twenty-three attorneys to twenty-eight attorneys. A motion offered by Councilmember Kniech, duly seconded by Councilmember Torres, that Council Bill 19-0891 be postponed to a date certain. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 6- Kashmann, Torres, Sandoval, Kniech, Sawyer, Clark Nay: 0 Absent: 1- Flynn There will be 15 minutes of public comment on item 19-0891.
