A motion offered by Councilmember Flynn, duly seconded by Councilmember Kniech, that Council Bill 20-1469 be approved for filing. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7- Kashmann, Kniech, Sandoval, Sawyer, Torres, Flynn, Gilmore Nay: 0 20-1470 Approves a contract with RRK Enterprises Inc., doing business as Independence House, for $5,000,000 and through 12-31-23 for residential and non-residential community corrections services (SAFTY-202056979). Council Resolution 20-1525 was approved by consent 20-1526 Amends a contract with Family Homestead by adding $207,748 for a new total of $905,336 and one year for a new end date of 12-31-21 to provide emergency transitional housing and case management to families experiencing homelessness, including securing financial stability and obtaining long-term housing citywide (SOCSV-2017-32514-04; SOCSV-202056552-04). Council Resolution 20-1526 was approved by consent 20-1527 Approves an intergovernmental agreement with School District No. 1 for $529,350 and for one year to provide funding to create a hydroponic farm at Bruce Randolph School with accompanying curriculum to help ensure students recognize food justice and insecurity, understand health and nutrition, and to provide fresh produce to students and their community through urban farming, food preparation and food preservation, in Council District 9 (ENVHL-202055488). Council Bill 20-1527 was approved by consent 20-1532 Amends a contract with Epicenter Innovation, LLC, by adding $300,000 for a new total of $750,000, adding approximately five months for a new end date of 08/31/2021 and updating the scope of work to include additional on-call services and incident command consulting related to the COVID-19 crisis, citywide (ENVHL-202054218). Council Resolution 20-1532 was approved by consent 20-1533 Amends a contract with Colorado Non-profit Development Center, doing business as Harm Reduction Action Center, by adding $239,376 for a new total of $718,199 and one year for a new end date of 12-31-21 for syringe access services, citywide (ENVHL-20205701).
