Action Items
23-0537 Approves a contract with CESCO for $625,976 and through 12-31-2025 to
provide workforce training for immigrant and refugee community members
on how to become a professional interpreter (HRCRS-202367550).
A motion offered by Councilmember Flynn, duly seconded by Vice Chair
Kashmann, that Council Resolution 23-0537 be approved for filing, carried by the
following vote:
Aye: 7- Kniech, Kashmann, Sandoval, Sawyer, Torres, Flynn, Gilmore
Nay: 0
23-0583 Approves a contract with Bayaud Enterprises, Inc. for $2,959,649 and
through 12-31-2025 to establish a pilot housing navigator program to
support approximately 300 Denver residents with intellectual and
developmental disabilities and their families, who are experiencing
homelessness, are at-risk of displacement from current housing, and/or are
seeking a more independent living situation, citywide
(SOCSV-202366721-00).
A motion offered by Councilmember Flynn, duly seconded by Councilmember
Torres, that Council Resolution 23-0583 be approved for filing, carried by the
following vote:

23-0621 Amends Chapter 28 of the Denver Revised Municipal Code to change the
length of board member terms for the Human Rights and Community
Partnerships Advisory Board members from two to three years to promote
increased opportunity for board member education and engagement.
