3. Public Comments
To be considerate of everyone attending the meeting, public comments will be
restricted to items that are not listed on this or a future agenda and limited to three
minutes per person. Comments which cannot be made within these limits should be
submitted in writing to the City Recorder prior to noon the day before the meeting.
Comments pertaining to an item on the agenda should not be given at this time but
should be held until that item is called.

5. Disclosure and Action Items
5.a The Budget Officer intends to State that the Fiscal Year 2026-27
Tentative Budget includes a proposed property tax rate increase.
(The Budget Officer intends to state, as a required disclosure under Utah Code §
59-2-919(4)(a), that the City's tentative budget for FY 2026-27 includes a
proposed property tax rate increase.)
5.b Statement of Budget Officer that the Fiscal Year 2026-27 Tentative
Budget includes a proposed property tax rate increase
(The Budget Officer will make the statement required by Utah Code § 59-2-919(4)
(a) that the City's tentative budget for FY 2026-27 includes a proposed property
tax rate increase.)
5.c Presentation: Property Tax Impact Schedule
The Budget Officer presents and makes available to the public a property
tax impact schedule as a separate document from all other budget
documents, as required by Utah Code §§ 59-2-924 and 59-2-919(4)(a).
(The Budget Officer will present the property tax impact schedule as a
standalone document, separate from all other budget materials, in accordance
with Utah Code §§ 59-2-919 and 59-2-924.)

6.a Public Hearing: Fiscal Year 2026-27 Interim Budget
This is an opportunity for the public to comment on the Fiscal Year 2026-27

This is an opportunity for the public to comment on proposed changes to
municipal water rates for customers serviced by Draper City. Staff report by

6.c Pubic Hearing: Statutory Officer Compensation
This is an opportunity for the public to comment on proposed changes to
statutory officer compensation associated with the Fiscal Year 2026–27
Interim Budget prior to adoption. Staff report by John Vuyk.
6.d Public Hearing: Executive Municipal Officer Compensation
This is an opportunity for the public to comment on proposed changes to
executive municipal officer compensation associated with the Fiscal Year
2026–27 Interim Budget prior to its adoption. Staff report by John Vuyk.
6.e Public Hearing: Resolution #26-25
A resolution amending the adopted budget of Draper City for Fiscal Year
2025-26. Staff report by John Vuyk.
6.f Action: Resolution #26-26
A resolution certifying authorized individuals to access and/or transact
business with the State of Utah Public Treasurers Investment Funds and to
execute any necessary forms in connection with such changes on behalf of

6.g Action: Resolution #26-27
A resolution setting the date of August 12, 2026 as the Truth and Taxation
Hearing for Draper City. Staff report by John Vuyk.
