NEW ITEMS: 1) A Resolution Calling for a Public Hearing Pursuant to 65ILCS 5/11-74.3-1 to Consider a Montclaire Business Development District – Sets public hearing date & time for Montclaire Business District, December 6, 2016 6:30 P.M. 2) An Ordinance Amending Chapter 46 of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Edwardsville (Fire Department) – Creating Fire Department Deputy Chief Position – pending recommendation from Public Safety Committee – 3) Resolution Authorizing an Amended Intergovernmental Agreement for LLCC Sign – Amends 2007 Intergovernmental Agreement regarding the approved location, design and size of sign 4) An Ordinance Amending Chapter 94 of the Codified Ordinance of the City of Edwardsville (Signs) – Establishes provisions to allow dynamic display signs in residential zoning districts with an approved Special Use Permit 5) An Ordinance Amending Chapter 106 (Taxation) Sections 106-321 & 106-326 of the Codified Ordinances – (Municipal Hotel/Motel Tax) – Increases rate from 3% to 6% and directing that the proceeds of the tax be expanded and allocated as follows: 1% for tourism marketing and promotions; 1% for special events; 1% for special parks; and 3% for debt service on new parks and park improvements C.
