Approval of minutes from the April 30, 2020 ACS meeting – Motion to approve (Krause), seconded (Morrison) and voted all ayes to forward to Council. 2. Correspondence & Announcements: A. Monthly Permit Report – April 2020 3. Council Matters A. FILED FOR SECOND READING: 1) An Ordinance Amending Section 4-2 of the Land Development Code regarding Subdivision Variances – It allows individuals to apply for a variance when they’re submitting for a final minor plat. The City has jurisdiction over subdivisions within a mile and a half of the boundary and often sees requests for subdivisions consisting of 2 or 3 lots right outside the City. It isn’t always feasible to dedicate green space or install a sidewalk. Motion to approve (Risavy), seconded (Krause) and voted all ayes to forward to Council 2) An Ordinance Amending the Land Development Code adding Section 3-4.C “Consolidation Plats and Boundary Adjustment Plats” – This allows for the consolidation and the adjustment of lines for existing lots of record. Motion to approve (Risavy), seconded (Morrison) and voted all ayes to forward to Council. 1  3) An Ordinance Amending the Land Development Code Section 2-2 Selected Definitions of the Land Development Code –The addition of regulations for both Consolidation Plats and Boundary Adjustment requires definitions for these new terms. Motion to approve (Risavy), seconded (Krause) and voted all ayes to forward to Council. 4) An Ordinance Amending the Zoning Ordinance Chapter 1250 (Lot Coverage and Utilization) – This ordinance amends our zoning code in three ways. It will require a consolidation plat when multiple parcels that do not exceed minimum requirements on their own are used as one. It will allow for the use of lots 50 feet wide. It will also clarify the regulations for the use of small lots greater or equal to 50 feet wide providing for reduced setbacks. Motion to approve (Risavy), seconded (Morrison) and voted all ayes to forward to Council. 5) An Ordinance Making Appropriations for the Fiscal Year Beginning the First Tuesday in May, A.D., 2020 and Ending the Monday Preceding the First Tuesday in May, A.D., 2021 – Motion to approve (Risavy), seconded (Krause) and voted all ayes to forward to Council. B. NEW ITEMS: 1) Approval to award the removal of the Barn at Plummer Family Park (Bid opening May 14, 2020 at 10:00 am) – to be distributed – Motion to approve (Risavy), seconded (Krause) and voted all nays to forward to Council.
