EDWARDSVILLE – SIUE COMMUNITY DESTINATION GROUP May 21, 2019 Present: Chad Verbais – Chair, Doug Rohrer, Cheryl Watson, Walt Williams, Tricia Lack Absent: Kim Durr, Tyler Manning, Paul Pitts, Sadie Spears, Jessica DeSpain Chad opened the meeting at 6:06 pm Review of Minutes – April – tabled due to no quorum Financials – We ended the 2018-2019 year with a balance of $57.73. New budget $10,000 started May 1. Have had one expense to Myron for sticky books at a cost of $1392.50 Once a Cougar Always a Cougar Partnership – Chad and Cheryl both mentioned what a success the zip line and the event was. Three employees from the Library and Chief Rick Welle volunteered to staff he table and be a welcoming face from the City. Art in the City Information - Chad spoke with Melissa McDonogh-Borden from the Edwardsville Art Center in regards to Art in the City. Faculty mixer with City staff – tabled due to Kim being absent Springboard – Chad discussed the scheduling of the tours. Volunteers where assigned to dates of the tours. Walt – May 28th Janet – May 30th and June 22nd SJ – July 20th Cheryl and Doug will pass out bags at the Wildey. Tricia is going to reach out to Chief Welle and Chief Keeven to see if they could take a couple dates. Cheryl, Doug and Tricia are going to stuff bags in preparation for the tours. Next meeting on Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at 6pm. Meeting adjourned at 6:55pm
